What to Submit

All entries except books must be submitted electronically, and we encourage entrants to submit books electronically as well.

Maximum file size is 100MB; if your file is larger than that, please submit a URL where it can be viewed online.

Please submit the published version of your work. Self-published works are acceptable if they have reached an audience.

If you are entering a series, you must submit 3 – 5 files or links from that series.

Publications

  • Blogs: a pdf of the item, or a link to the specific entry online
  • Newsletters: a pdf of the item, or a link to the specific entry online
  • Magazines: a pdf of the issue
  • Newspapers: a pdf of the issue
  • Books: a pdf of the book, or a link where it may be read online free-of-charge by our judges. You may also submit promo codes which allow judges to download the book free-of-charge at an online bookstore. Alternatively, you may mail four (4) copies to the mailing address listed here.
  • Websites: a URL of the site. Note that it will be viewed sometime during the months of Jan-Feb prior to the awards ceremony. The timing will be at the judges’ discretion.
  • Radio: an mp3 file, or a link to the specific item online
  • Web Radio: an mp3 file, or a link to the specific item online
  • TV: an mp4 file, or a link to the specific item online
  • Webcasts: an mp4 file, or a link to the specific item online
  • Other Audio: an mp3 file, or a link to the specific item online
  • Other Video: an mp4 file, or a link to the specific item online
  • Podcasts: an mp3 file, or a link to the specific item online
  • Vlogs: an mp4 file, or a link to the specific entry online
  • Webinars: an mp4 file of a recorded webinar, or a link to the specific recorded item online. Judges cannot attend live webinars.

  • Newspaper article: a pdf of the item

  • Script: a pdf of the item
  • Technical Writing: a pdf of the item
  • Photography: a jpeg of the image, or a link to the specific image
